How to Join

Welcome to Westview Theatre Company!

It takes a large team of people working closely together to create a successful theatre production. Whether onstage, backstage, in the control booth, or in the lobby, there are opportunities for anyone to get involved, regardless of experience level.

WVTC is a community with its own unique and supportive culture, and once students are exposed to it, they stay connected to the program even after graduating from Westview. If you're looking for something special to be part of, a family to take you in, and experiences that will create new friendships and lasting memories, you’ve come to the right place.

WVTC Cast and Tech Crew Responsibilities

Three Easy Steps to Get Involved

1. Check out the WVTC Master Calendar for 

   • Cast audition dates

   • Tech crew application dates

   • Improv team workshop and audition dates

   • Performance dates

2. Complete the WVTC Registration Form

3. Upon completion of the registration form, you'll receive instructions on how to join the Slack group where you can access

   • Audition materials

   • Tech crew applications

   • Improv audition form

   • All info related to specific performances

Cast

If you audition for a production but are not cast, we strongly encourage you to stay involved in WVTC by joining a tech crew.

Tech Crew

The exact number of crew members depends on the need of the production. Don’t be afraid to apply for any or all of these positions, regardless of experience. Training is provided!

Improv Team

Improv typically starts in the fall with two pre-audition workshops that are open to everyone. After the team is selected, they practice throughout the year and perform several shows.
